Revisional Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass
What Is Revisional Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass?
Patients who previously had Roux-en-Y Bypass (RYGB) can have a revisional (correction) surgery in case they have a weight regain after primary surgery.
How It Works
RYGB can be revised by doing a pouch re-sizing with Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty only or Sugerman distalization with pouch revision Gastric Bypass surgery.

What Qualifies You For A Revisional Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass?
This procedure is good for people with a BMI of 30-34.9 with two comorbidities. Additionally, it is effective for individuals with a BMI of 35 or higher, even if they do not have comorbidities, as this stage of obesity is already associated with an increased risk of long-term health illnesses.
