Revisional Gastric Banding
What Is Revisional Gastric Banding?
Patients who previously had Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding (LAGB) can have a revisional (correction) surgery in case they have a weight regain or reflux after primary surgery.

How It Works
LAGB can be revised by doing all types of Gastric Bypass surgery or Sleeve Gastrectomy (less recommended).

What Qualifies You For A Revisional Gastric Banding?
This procedure is good for people with a BMI of 30-34.9 with two comorbidities. Additionally, it is effective for individuals with a BMI of 35 or higher, even if they do not have comorbidities, as this stage of obesity is already associated with an increased risk of long-term health illnesses.
